Next in consideration is the station which will best promote the business. The type of station will depend on the target listeners of the advertisers. For instance, if the product that is being endorsed is something which is beneficial to older men, then the best station to choose would be sport stations or FM stations because it is most likely that men of this age are tuned in to stations like such. Likewise, the time of day when the advertisements will be played is to be considered. Advertisers should pick the time when many are expected to be listening. This way, they can be sure that many will hear their ads.
And for those who are able to perfectly plan their radio advertisements, they may even get luckier with the help of a popular disc jockey with a popular radio show who can deliver the promotional message on air during the said show. This is an added spice to the commercial itself. Maybe his avid listeners can be persuaded by such “extra boost” to the advertisement.
Advertising through the radio offers a chance to have a very straightforward yet influential message to a group of consumers which can show great interest to the product or service which is being sold to such market group. And to be able to successfully reach the minds of the target market, the advertisers should at least be aware of factors that may affect the advertisement, like the radio advertising space that they can avail of, and the time that they can get.
